2008-2009 Executive Board of Directors Elections
The following positions are up for election this school year. Elections will be held at both regional tournaments and announced at the State tournament. If you are interested running for a position or want to submit a name, please do so. Submit nominations to kevans63@hotmail.com. If you are nominating someone other than yourself, please send their email as well. We will contact all nominees for a very short bio to place on the ballot.
We are always looking for new people to become more active at the organizational level. New people bring new ideas. Many people ask "what is required of a board member?" The Executive Board will be meeting in August. Please check back for more detailed information about the requirements of the positions. It is not as time consuming as some might think!
Positions Available:
- President Elect - assist the President. Must serve on the Board of Directors for 2 years prior to becoming President Elect
- Secretary - will record and organize minutes from the board meetings.
- Treasurer - will be responsible for the billing, invoicing, and monies for the organization.
- Northwest Area Vice President - will assist the regional directors and fill-in at board meetings in the absence of the president
- Southeast Area Vice President - will assist the regional directors and fill-in at board meetings in the absence of the president
